Ivory and sage, a blush bow and a lamb among daisies
Little Lamb is a christening invitation with a lamb standing in a meadow of tiny daisies, drawn in sage line on ivory, a blush bow tied at its neck.
Its woolly coat is scalloped like a cloud, its face sleepy with one pink cheek, its four slim legs planted in the grass. Beneath, the baby’s name is printed in Caslon above a blush-pink seal. Of the christening designs this is the gentlest, sweet without turning babyish, and sage paired with blush suits a son or a daughter. First the sage belly band slides away, soft pink petals float across, and pressed numbers mark how many days remain. A typical programme: welcome, christening, picnic lunch on the lawn, then cake. Every reply of yes scatters pearls and a few green leaves. Lovely for a spring baptism, a christening followed by a garden lunch, or a blessing at home.
When you choose this design, the invitation maker starts your welcome message with these words. Keep them or write your own.
The invitation shows these moments until you add your own, up to five.
