From mid-November to New Year’s Day every calendar fills up, and a message in the group chat is easy to lose under photos and gift ideas. An online holiday party invitation gives the evening a page of its own: the date, the address, the dress code and one button to reply. You see who is coming, who is bringing a partner and who does not eat meat before you order the food.
It works for the office Christmas party, Friendsgiving, a Hanukkah dinner, a cookie swap or New Year’s Eve at your place. Pick a holiday design, add your details and send each guest a personal link. Everything is free, and your guests do not need an app or an account.

The company holiday party or work Christmas do: invite the team, decide whether partners are welcome and collect dietary needs for the caterer.
Say who is hosting and what time dinner is served, and ask guests to use the note to tell you which dish they are bringing.
A family Christmas dinner, a tree-trimming afternoon or a drop-in open house, with a map link to your door.
Invite family and friends for candle lighting, latkes and games on one of the eight nights.
Share the start time, the dress code and the moment of the midnight toast in a short programme.
Smaller get-togethers deserve a real invitation too. Put the theme in the dress code line so nobody arrives unprepared. The same goes for a Galentine’s Day brunch in February.
Timing
December Fridays and Saturdays go first. Send the office Christmas party invitation in late October or early November.
Guests choose between several parties, so ask early and say whether the evening is a dinner or drinks.
The usual window for Friendsgiving, Christmas dinner, Hanukkah and a cookie swap.
Close replies before you confirm numbers with a venue or do the big grocery run. Guests can change their answer until then.
Digital or printed
Printed cards are lovely on a mantel, but December mail is slow and a card cannot count your guests. Here is how the two compare.
| Digital invitation | Printed invitation | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Free on Reponelle | Cards, envelopes and holiday postage |
| Delivery | At once, by text, email or WhatsApp | Days in the busiest mail weeks of the year |
| RSVPs | Each guest replies on the invitation; the list fills itself | Calls and texts to note down by hand |
| Changes | Edit once and every link shows the new time or place | A second round of messages |
| Details | Programme, dress code, map link, countdown and add-to-calendar | What fits on the card |
| Keepsake | A link guests can open again | A card for the fridge door |
Questions
Yes. Every holiday design, the animated opening, personal guest links and the RSVP list are free, with no paid package and no payment details.
In your account, create a personal link for each guest, colleague or couple. Copy the link and paste it into a text, an email or any chat, or tap the Share on WhatsApp button next to it to open WhatsApp with the message already written. Guests reply on the invitation itself, and every reply arrives in your account.
Six to eight weeks ahead if you can, because December evenings are claimed early. For a party at home, three to four weeks is enough.
Who is hosting, the date and start time, the address, the dress code or theme, whether partners are welcome, anything to bring (a dish, a wrapped gift for the swap) and the date you need replies by.
If you allow it. You choose whether the invitation offers a plus-one; each guest can bring one person at most. Turn it off and everyone answers only for themselves.
Yes. The RSVP form lets each guest pick one dietary choice, such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or halal, and add a note for allergies.
No. The invitation opens in the browser on any phone or computer. Only you, as the host, sign in.
Yes. Explain the rules in your welcome message and ask guests to write their dish in the note when they reply, so you can see the whole table in your guest list.
