Lotus & Diya: a Diwali party invitation template

Lotus & Diya is a Diwali party invitation template in deep plum and marigold gold, with an engraved lotus between two lit diyas, for evenings of light.

The lotus opens in layered petals of gold line, a small flame burns in each clay lamp, and a coral seal rests beneath the greeting. Plum and marigold keep it warm without shouting. A marigold gatefold parts to show the invitation, firefly specks glow over the plum background, and the countdown is pressed in letterpress style. There is room in the evening’s order for lighting the diyas, Lakshmi puja, dinner, and sweets with sparklers. When a guest accepts, marigolds, petals and tiny mirrors ripple outward. It suits a family Diwali dinner, a party for friends and colleagues, or a community celebration.
