Dove & Olive: a baptism invitation template

Dove & Olive is a baptism invitation template in silver foil on ivory, with a dove carrying an olive sprig, for christenings and the lunch that follows.

The dove flies across the top in fine silver line, a sprig in its beak, above two olive branches that curve up like a cradle; the child’s name is written in a slender italic over a sage-green seal. Quiet and traditional, it leaves out pink and blue entirely. An ivory ribbon is untied from a vellum wrap to open it, and letterpress figures count down. Plan the service, lunch in the garden and the cake. Silver sequins drift down with olive leaves for every guest who will be there. Suits a church christening, a baptism with family lunch, or a naming ceremony.
