Side A: a party invitation template

Side A is a music party invitation template styled like a record sleeve in cream, black and tangerine, for listening parties and vinyl-lover birthdays.

Half a black record slides out from the right edge of a cream sleeve, its grooves catching the light, while the date sits in heavy black type over a tangerine bar and the title, Drop the needle, is set in bold capitals. The invitation starts on a turntable, records spin through the countdown, and the running order becomes a tracklist: doors, side A, flip the record, side B, run-out groove. Records and colored discs are thrown across the screen when a guest accepts. Spin it up for a fortieth listening party, a record-club night, or a DJ’s birthday.
