Crescent Iftar: an iftar invitation template

Crescent Iftar is an iftar invitation template in midnight indigo and antique gold, with an engraved crescent moon and lantern, for breaking the fast together.

A lantern hangs inside the curve of the moon, three small stars sit beside it, and a gold lattice border runs around the deep blue card, with the title in a flowing italic. The invitation unfolds from an indigo gatefold while stars drift over the page, and letterpress-style numerals tick toward the evening. A printed card can set out the welcome, the breaking of the fast, the iftar table, then tea and sweets. Gold leaf and pearls drift down whenever a guest accepts. It suits a family iftar at home, a mosque or community iftar, or an office iftar for colleagues during Ramadan.
