Blush card, raspberry ink and an engraved tiered cake
About Cake Stand
Cake Stand is a milestone birthday invitation template with an engraved tiered cake in blush and raspberry, for fortieths, fiftieths and other big birthdays.
A three-tier cake stands on a footed plate at the heart of the card, iced in scallops and dotted with sugar flowers, with five lit candles on top; the title, Forty candles, is set in an elegant display face below. A raspberry belly band comes away, and letterpress digits count the days. The afternoon can run from tea and champagne to a few words, the cake cutting and dancing. Gold leaf and pearls flutter down when a friend accepts. Good for a fortieth afternoon tea, a sixtieth family lunch, or a fiftieth in a private dining room.
