Armillary: a business event invitation template

Armillary is a black-tie gala invitation template in stone and navy ink, with an engraved armillary sphere, for fundraisers, award dinners and annual galas.

The sphere stands on its pedestal at the center, its crossing rings drawn in navy line, with a laurel branch on each side and a deep red seal below the title, which is set in Roman capitals like an inscription. It has the weight of a museum or a university. A navy pocketfold opens, stars drift past, and letterpress numerals strike off the days. Reception, dinner, keynote and the year’s honorees fit neatly on the running order. Each acceptance sets off a few shooting stars.
